Town of Huntington plans spray park honoring fallen NYPD sergeant from LI

The town of Huntington announced plans for a spray park Monday to honor a fallen NYPD officer from the area.

Officials say the plan is to name the spray park after 19-year NYPD veteran Paul Tuozzolo.

Tuozzolo was shot and killed in November while chasing a suspect from Brentwood in New York City. His son Austin got a police escort to the school bus this month when he started kindergarten.

Town officials say the spray park will be built near Tuozzolo's home in Elwood Park by next summer.
